Retreat

Photography project developed as part of a school assignment,
focused on portraying retired people. I chose to photograph my great-grandfather,
a fascinating and deeply human figure. Through these images,
I aimed to express the sense of solitude often experienced by seniors,
as well as the emotional emptiness that can accompany this stage of life.
The project explores intimacy, memory, and the quiet presence of time.
